If you and your husband are paying the same for insurance , unless he is a really safe drive and you re a bad one, you need to run a check on rates and see if you can find a better rate.
Women get into fewer accidents, and the ones they have are usually not as bad as the accident that a man gets into. Well, that stands to reason. After all, most women have precious cargo on board and are extra safety conscious because of it. You just do not take chances when your babies are in the back seat.
So most insurance companies reflect this when figuring the rates for womens car insurance.

Men, on the other hand, are more aggressive than women. So there goes the cry about poor women drivers. If it was true, that women were worst drivers that men, then the insurance companies would reflect that in their rates.
So, don’t let the boy friend or husband bully you into letting them drive if you don’t want, too. The numbers are on your side ladies. It is not true that men are better drivers. Keep those keys for yourself. Treat yourself to a new outfit, too. Just point out that it is paid for by the money you save on womens car insurance.
